Holy Smokes! What an adventure this was!

Here at Ride a Cowboy we know our DIY Cowboy decorating kit is more than just a craft project; it's a lifestyle and to capture the essence of this kick ass idea we embarked on our very first photo shoot with one goal in mind: to bring the energy, fun, and undeniable style that our DIY Cowboy hats represent.

It was time to Saddle Up for the Shoot. The lead up to the event was what we like to call… organised Chaos! From last minute trips to the grocery store, online orders, to baking an entire freakin cake, the team was filled with excitement and determination. Not to mention the hours spent creating some kick ass hats! It was finally time… With our DIY Cowboy hats in hand and hearts full of enthusiasm, we were ready to bring Ride a Cowboy to life!

During this shoot we knew It was super important for us as a team to Channel a bad butch vibe.  It was our absolute mission to embody the Ride a Cowboy spirit authentically, and we knew the team we’re more than capable of doing this. So we cranked our favourite ‘Doja Cat’ Spotify playlist, got the energy flowing and allowed Karlee, our (frickin incredible) photographer to make Magic!

Within this photoshoot, we wanted to ensure that our DIY Cowboy hats are not just an accessory; they're an extension of your personality. We wanted to convey that message clearly in our photos for the world to see. Whether it was a group of friends having a hell of a time at a party, a wild bachelorette weekend, or someone just absolutely owning their unique fashion style at a concert or festival, we wanted to make sure our photos showcased how seamlessly the DIY Cowboy hat fits into various aspects of life.

It was important for us not only to photograph and shoot the final product but also the process. We wanted to showcase the foundation of our product, which is the ability to create your own kick ass cowboy hat. That’s the true beauty of Ride a Cowboy. No hat will look the same as the last, ensuring that your hat is uniquely yours and a one-of-a-kind.

We are so super grateful for Mayatu, Neo and Ashley our AMAZING models who really bought our vision to life. The girls were so talented in all that they brought to the shoot and we were so ecstatic to see them have as much fun as we were! And of course we cannot forget about our amazing photographer Karlee. Karlee listened and took on board every little detail, every idea and truly went above and beyond. We are sending Karlee some serious love for truly bringing Ride a Cowboy to life!
